You will work for a language services company based in Surrey, on the outskirts of London.

MAIN DUTIES
Assisting our Project Managers with their projects
Liaising with suppliers and managing our databases
Editing/Proofreading translated texts in your native language
Translating small documents into your native language
Creating reference documentation for projects, including glossaries and translation memories
Detailed quality checking of documents, including typeset documents and web pages
Testing new software (if required)
Managing projects
Any other duties as may reasonably be required
SKILLS AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED
Studies or a qualification in Translation or Linguistics
Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills and great attention to detail
Good spoken and written knowledge of one or more languages other than your native language
If English is not your first language, then we expect you to be comfortable working in English
Technical skills associated with translation technology (ideally memoQ and SDL Trados) and MS Office
Right to work in the UK
Allowance: 400£/month if you have a grant/ 600£ if you don't have.
